Ragne Pekarev on Vanemuise teatri näitleja, kes on mänginud ainuüksi koduteatris 20 aasta jooksul ligi 57 eri rolli. Aastal 2022 pärjati teda teleauhinnaga– parim naisnäitleja seriaalis (“Sassis”) ja aastast 2023 on ilusteb tema kapil Theodori silm– Eesti Teatri aastaauhind 2023 – parim naiskõrvalosa (Agrado lavastuses “Kõik minu emast”)
 
Ragne on pikka kasvu maatüdruk, kes proovis kahel korral teatrikooli sisse saada – tulutult. Ta ei osanud tol hetkel isegi unistada, et kunagi on tal päris oma kirjutatud monokomöödia, millega käib mööda Eestit publikut naerutamas. Et räägib lugusid sellest, kuidas ta noorena oma pikkade jalagade tõttu hädas oli ja kuidas ta nüüd, aastaid hiljem, nende samade pikkade jalgadega ööklubis mehi segadusse ajab. Ja ka sellest, kuidas näitlejana pendeldada päriselu ja mänguelu vahel või kuidas teismelisega ühist keelt leida ja laste kasvatamises “ämbrisse kukkuda”. Lollist koerast ja kapriissest kassist nagunii.

Ragne Pekarev is an actress at the Vanemuine Theater who has played nearly 57 different roles at her home theater alone over the past 20 years. In 2022, she won a television award for Best Actress in a Series (“Sassis”), and since 2023, the Estonian Theater Award 2023 for Best Supporting Actress (in Agrado’s production of “All About My Mother”) has graced her shelf.

Ragne is a tall country girl who tried twice to get into theater school—to no avail. At the time, she couldn’t even have dreamed that one day she’d have her very own one-woman comedy, with which she’d travel around Estonia making audiences laugh. She tells stories about how, as a young girl, she struggled because of her long legs, and how now, years later, she uses those same long legs to drive men wild in nightclubs. And also about how, as an actress, she juggles real life and the world of acting, or how to find common ground with a teenager and “screw up” when raising kids. Not to mention a silly dog and a capricious cat, of course.

And all of this served up with a delightfully humorous twist!

You’ll hear stories about life itself—the kind of things people don’t usually talk about on a first date—as well as the things people always want to know about actors. All of this is presented in a spicy sauce, seasoned with good humor, and served on a beautiful platter.
